Abundance (noun)
The situation in which there is more than enough of something. To have an abundance of something is to have more than you need. It’s often used to describe positive qualities. Abundance is the opposite of scarcity. This noun comes to us from the mid-14th century French, via the Latin abundantia, meaning “fullness, plenty.” 

Scarcity (noun)
The state of being scarce or in short supply. scarce (adjective) Restricted in quantity; from Old North French scars “scanty, scarce” (Old French eschars, Modern French échars) Limited availability of a commodity, which may be in demand in the market or by the commons.
