VII. CASA MÁ

Casa Má is located at the border between Mexico City and the State of Mexico, within a residence designed by architect Manuel Parra. Its fundamental purpose is to carry out a delicate intervention that does not suppress the essence of the pre-existing architecture but integrates it harmoniously, making it the starting point for creating an intimate and welcoming space. One of the primary premises is to establish a direct connection between the interior and exterior, highlighting the plant elements present in the house as the main focal points. The selection of materials and tones carefully responds to the intrinsic relationship between the classic architecture of the residence and the contemporary proposal of the intervention. The goal of maintaining aesthetic coherence and visual continuity is based on enriching the overall spatial experience.

This attention to detail not only guarantees a visually pleasing aesthetic but also deepens the emotional connection between the occupants and the space, thus creating an immersive and memorable experience. The careful play of tones in the materials and furniture, combined with subtle lighting in warm hues, aims to imbue the environment with an atmosphere of serenity and physical healing. Every detail has been meticulously chosen to create an environment that invites relaxation and promotes both physical and emotional well-being. Conceived as a sanctuary in the midst of urban hustle and bustle, this design seeks to provide a refuge where occupants can disconnect from daily stress and reconnect with themselves. Every element of the space has been designed to foster calm and facilitate a sense of renewal, offering a complete experience of tranquility and revitalization. From the soft tones of the lighting to the careful arrangement of the furniture, everything is intended to create a cozy and harmonious environment that nourishes both body and spirit, allowing those who experience it to immerse themselves in an oasis of peace and serenity amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life.
